Paxton Sisson, PA-C, is a highly skilled physician assistant with specialized training in orthopedics and sports medicine. Through her work at Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Union City and Dyersburg, Tennessee, Ms. Paxton is honored to support joint health and wellness for the patients in her care.
Education has always shaped Ms. Paxton’s path. She began her studies at Union University in Tennessee, where she earned her undergraduate degree in athletic training. She completed a Master of Science in physician assistant studies at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
Upon entering the profession, Ms. Paxton worked as an athletic trainer for local high school sporting events and as a physician assistant in orthopedic and sports medicine. She enjoys taking the time to get to know the patients in her care and helping them get back on their feet and into the swing of their everyday routines again.
Patients appreciate Ms. Paxton’s attention to detail and personable nature. Unexpected orthopedic issues and sports injuries can be painful and stressful, and having an accomplished, experienced practitioner to turn to can make the experience easier to navigate.
