My experience with Dr Calfee and the Union City Surgery Center was wonderful. The facility and staff are exceptional. From check-in through discharge, the patient is cared for by knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and caring staff. You are always consulted about your comfort and care. The staff is ready and willing to accommodate any need or adjustment to enhance your recovery or comfort. My spouse was kept informed of my progress and any question or concern was readily answered. I have had 2 experiences with this group and both were very positive. We appreciate having a facility of this quality in our local area. I knew that after my right carpal tunnel release done 2 years ago that I would be calling Dr. Calfee and his angels when it came time for my left. Now, here it is December 1st and I have just been released from care from my left carpal tunnel release and let me tell you… from the surgery prep angels (God love y’all I’m sorry I’m such a hard stick) thru office reception, check-in, check-out, nurses and my friend, Dr. Calfee himself THANK YOU. Y’all ROCK ❤️

My hip replacement surgery was a success!! I felt very little pain. The staff were friendly and answered all my questions. I will be back for my knees when it is time.

I have never had the care and concern I experienced while begin under Dr. Calfee and his staff’s care like I have been receiving from them. With the type of set backs after surgery he and his whole staff NEVER left my side, this also includes the anesthesiologist. Words cannot describe what this means to me and my family. Even after having to be admitted to to hospital which was unexpected the whole staff has been calling and checking on me. He made a late night visit to check on me on hospital to check on me and even called while moving his daughters to Georgia. They have called me numerous times to check if everything was going good and my husband I are truly thankful for all of this. They have gone well above and beyond for us.

Dr. Calfee took the time needed to discuss my current condition and give me guidance on what I can expect as the healing continues. He was very pleased with the progress I have made (as am I) and encouraged me to keep up the exercises as prescribed. I do not have to come back for a year. I am very pleased with the progress I have made as the surgery I had was very extensive. I feel Dr. Calfee did exactly what had to be done.
